This 32 page booklet was the first issue of the in-flight magazine for Pan Am II.  The reborn airline first flew in September of 1996 and ceased flying in February of 1998.  This special issue magazine was a tribute to the original Pan Am and lists many “firsts” of the great company.  Also included are 13 black and white pictures from the Pan Am archives.  There are also 9 color pictures of Pan Am II, including graduation day of the first class of pilots and flight attendants.  The magazine also gives an overview of Pan Am II, it’s business strategy and fleet planning.  This is an unusual and rare piece.
This 1982 Pan Am 16 panel brochure (9in x 4in folded) features color pictures of Pan Am’s economy service.  For a brief period Pan Am began to refer to economy as “Cabin Class.”  Even ticket jackets were briefly printed as “Cabin Class.”  The brochure includes 9 color shots of customer & flight attendants in Cabin Class aboard the 747.  The brochure unfolds to a size of 16x18 inches and give a very good perspective on the Pan Am economy product of the early 1980s.  The rear panel has a shot of a customer checking in at the JFK WorldPort. This item is in excellent condition.
